Main Bedroom
Both bedrooms are on the first floor up a “hidden” staircase. The main bedroom is very spacious South facing room with a sash window and far reaching southerly views. It has a super King size bed which can also be made up as 2 single beds. Proper full size singles with generous upholstered headboards in Sanderson Anthos fabric. It has an Oka sofa, Roberts Radio a Smart TV and a hairdryer. Plenty of hanging space and a chest of drawers. There is also a kettle, Nespresso machine, teas and infusions. The bed is made up with feather filled duvets and pillows and crisp white Egyptian cotton bedding. (Please let us know if you have a feather allergy and we can provide hypoallergenic bedding) All bedside tables have proper reading lamps. Towelling robes are available and the bathroom has toiletries from The White Company.

THE BATHROOM - Has a large deep old cast iron bath (with hot and cold taps - no mixer no shower attachment) There is a good electric shower over the bath which works well. Heated towel rail. There is NO walk in shower. Excellent water pressure and lots of hot water.
Our second bedroom - only available when our main bedroom is booked
This is a very pretty and comfortable room with a gently combed ceiling and a low west facing window overlooking the garden and The Cheviot Hills beyond. This lovely bedroom has a super King size bed which can also be split into 2 full size single beds with tall upholstered headboards.
This bedroom is only available if booked with our main bedroom. In estate agent speak it is “cosy”. That said it does have a super King size bed which can be split into twin beds. It has bedside tables with angle poised lamps, a chest of drawers, upholstered bench and hooks with padded tweed coat hangers on the door. TV and Roberts Radio. No tea and coffee making facilities but these are available in the guest sitting room.
