This stunning Grade II listed Farm House Bed and Breakfast is the perfect place to spend quality time. Your accommodation is to the West side of the house and is private. Chillingham Newtown really is the ideal location to explore all that this glorious county has to offer. To some it is “off the beaten track” however we think that is what makes it so special. -A perfect place to escape the everyday. Close enough to everywhere to dip in and out as and when you please - Only 20 mins to the coast, 15 mins to the Cheviot Hills and Northumberland National Park, 20 mins to Alnwick with its world famous castle and magnificent beach. Just10 mins to Wooler - known as “The Gateway to The Cheviots”. The Holy Island of Lindisfarne is an easy 30 mins drive as is the Elizabethan walled town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. Northumberland has fresh air and open space in abundance.
You will have the exclusive use of a delightful and comfortable sitting room with an open fire which is always alight and welcoming for you during cooler months. The sitting room opens on to a south facing sun room - where we serve breakfast) . The garden (nature patch) is work in progress and will be for a while as the house had been empty for a number of years before we moved in - so bear with us on that front… There is still a lot of outside space for you that is mowed and under control! When there is no livestock in the field in front of the house you are very welcome to let your dog run free otherwise your dog must be kept on a lead at all times when outside.

The comfortable sitting room is a delight w a big squishy sofa and an armchair, with lots of books and an open fire. It has a large picture window which overlooks the garden and a glazed door which opens on to the sun room at the front of the house

For bookings of 4 people we will also be able to provide evening meals. For 2 people we offer delicious home made soup with crusty bread and local cheese.
